LABVIEW example programElectronics engineers often need additional PC software to log data, display data, provide user interface.. Without object programming experience this could be hard job to do if not impossible. Here we will present solution that allows every engineer to make relatively complex applications in matter of minutes with no programming experience needed.

This problem was noticed by group of brilliant people that have created LABVIEW long time ago. First you can watch short video that will give you insight to their vision

LABVIEW is data flow programing language, meaning you just need to connect small blocks like creating Lego figure. It is very intuitive and easy to learn. Second video follows creating of one simple LABVIEW project for you to see how simple it is and to understand basic LABVIEW organization.

In this video they have used NI acquisition hardware. This kind of hardware can be very expensive. But instead of using this specialized hardware you can make LABVIEW application that receives data from your AVR, PIC or any other microcontroller via RS232 COM port. Once you receive data in LABVIEW you have many tools to display, analyze and log that data in real time. Soon we will publish example of how to do this and turn your microcontroller and LABVIEW application in powerful oscilloscope.

Official site where you can download trial version of LABVIEW is http://www.ni.com/labview/
